1. Your giving creates real impact.. This year alone we have trained over 2000 citizen responders, deployed hundreds of volunteers to work flood relief efforts. And your giving will help position our organization to do this again next year!

2. You get to be a part of something bigger than yourself. The impact of the April and May Floods was evidence that the need for skilled and trained volunteers is a critical component to community resiliency.

3. People believe in what we're doing. Our Mission is necessary, after 12 years of service to the community we know the need for volunteers with training, passion and compassion is real. And we are committed to providing our community with impeccable service through volunteerism for many years to come.

 5. We support your efforts. Our mission is only achievable with your help. No one can replace your spot in our movement. That's why we answer the call to the communities needs without hesitation.

6. We take risks to get the job done. We're not scared to try new things whether they succeed or fail. We know that to provide our communities with the support they need, we're going to have to think and do things outside of the box. We don't stop and We won't stop.

7. We're different from the average nonprofit. We are laser-beam-focused on a single issue and believe that community visibility and involvement are the true building blocks to making our cities safer place to live and work . There's always plenty to be excited about with us!

8. Our programs have an impact and are scalable. All of our programs are designed to be high-impact and easy to scale. Simply put, the more you give the more impact you can have.

9. Our mission is 100% attainable. When we say that our mission is to build highly trained civilian responders in the Greater Houston Area, we mean it because we know it's possible. We're one of the few volunteer nonprofit organizations that solely focus on community preparedness and that has actually put staff and volunteers on the ground in all real disaster who are equipped to assist and to lead.

10. Your Gift of $12.00 or more will:

• Purchase training materials for preparedness and response classes
• Secure medical supplies for our First Aid Deployment Teams
• Provide scholarships to our Senior Student Team Members
• Ensure hospitality and respite services to our volunteers while serving the community
• Assist with First Responder Support and Rehabilitation
• Support healthy living initiatives including ( planting, exercise development, awareness and prevention)
